This diploma project, completed within the 2D Graphic Design Course at PJATK, focused on developing the visual identity of a fictional music band called SKAM. The project involved creating a cohesive visual identity for a music band, consisting of an album design, a merchandise collection, and a website.
The concept was developed not only to build the brand’s image but also to support promotional and event activities -from merchandise sales to online presence and concert visuals.
This project simulated the process of promoting and merchandising the release of the band’s debut album Spineless. The album title - meaning both ‘invertebrate’ and ‘lacking backbone’ - served as the initial idea of the graphic concept. The overall design is based on a bold, unsettling aesthetic inspired by biological motives: blood-like stains and the imagery of a centipede, an invertebrate resembling a spine. This symbolism emphasizes the album’s title and the character of the band’s music. The band performs intense electronic-rock music with raw, powerful sounds, reflected in the band’s brutal visual apperance.

I created promotional posters for the band’s debut album Spineless, where the graphic concept reflects the brutalist aesthetic and raw energy of their music

A merchandise website created to promote the band’s album.
The visual identity and merchandise collection were designed to support the band’s promotion and build its recognition during live events.
